 Caribbean
Wesleyan College (CWC) in Savanna-la-Mar, Jamaica
has been providing secondary education to students
throughout the Caribbean since the early 1970s.
CWC offers a Diploma in Theology, Diploma in
Christian Education, and a Certificate in Christian
Ministries. CWC also has a Laymen Training Course
(LTC). CWC currently has 22 students--15 full
time (Diploma), 5 LTC and 2 part time. World
Hope International (WHI) is partnering with
CWC to achieve its goal of providing quality,
accredited education to Caribbean students.
Education
WHI
is playing an instrumental role in the accreditation
and development of CWC. WHI has received $1,730,000
in donations to construct a new dormitory, cafeteria,
visiting tutor facility, married student facility
and a library for CWC. The new buildings were
completed and dedicated on October 21 ,2007.
WHI is also providing consulting services to
assist the college with its application for
accreditation and registration with the Ministry
of Education of Jamaica. Furthermore, WHI is
providing new books and library resources for
the college’s new library.
