Project of World Hope International Bosnia

Project: Renovation of four classrooms in Livno, Bosnia
Need: Four teams of six people to provide funds for supplies & manpower for:

        * Repair of ceiling, walls, and windows
        * Replacement of desks and chairs
        * Retiling of floors

Goal: Creation of a safe and pleasant environment for Bosnian students through renovation

               of 4 classrooms

Funds: Each team should raise $8000 per classroom for renovation supplies

Steps to Leading a Team to Bosnia

1. Confirm team dates of service with the Hope Corps office by February 15, 2008
    (email: hopecorps@worldhope.net or  phone:  1-888-466-4673 ext. 122)

2. Distribute Hope Corps application to team members (Cost per person is $860 + airfare)

3. Appoint a team leader to be the liaison between the Hope Corps staff and the team

4. Volunteer Applications are due by March 1 and can be sent directly to the World Hope office:

5. Begin fundraising NOW!

6. Contributions Deadlines:

March 15 $1,500 due per team member for purchase of air tickets

 

April 15    $4,000 due (50% of cost of supplies)

May 1        Balance of individual team member costs due

 

May 15      $4,000 due (Balance of supplies cost)
