Welcomes Scott Drury
World Hope International (WHI) is pleased
to welcome Scott Drury to the organization in the newly-created
role of
Executive Gift Officer. In his new role with WHI Scott
will connect with many friends and donors to the organization
to build existing relationships and create new opportunities
for WHI to further its mission.
Scott is a graduate of Southern Wesleyan
University and the University of South Carolina School of
Law. Since 2005, he has worked for the Free Methodist Foundation
in Azusa, CA, as Regional Vice President. In this role,
Scott has facilitated gifts between
donors and Free Methodist ministries
congregations and has served as the foundation’s sole
representative in the Southwest United States. Having done
missions work in Hungary and China in addition to his professional
background, Scott has demonstrated an appreciation for the
work done by organizations like WHI.
“God is at work through World Hope
International and I am excited to join what He is doing.
World Hope International represents a unique opportunity
to be part of God's transforming and empowering work to
alleviate suffering and injustice around the world,”
Drury said. “I look forward to building relationships
with those already committed to the mission of World Hope
and inviting others to become partners in its life-changing
vision.”
Mr. Drury, his wife Elizabeth, and the
couple’s four sons will relocate to the Washington,
DC, area and Scott’s responsibilities with WHI will
officially begin
at the end of January, 2008. |
