Internships & Volunteering
World Hope International interns and volunteers have the opportunity to connect their talents, passions and education to God's calling to serve those struggling in poverty. Interns develop both professionally and personally as they explore opportunities for a career in the world of non-profits and witness God’s service to the poor through World Hope International. Volunteers who give the invaluable asset of their time connect uniquely to the mission of World Hope International.

Who is World Hope International?
World Hope International (WHI) is a Christian relief and development organization working with vulnerable and exploited communities to alleviate poverty, suffering and injustice. Since 1996, WHI has been serving the poorest of the poor living in remote communities around the world. As a Christian organization, the loving compassion of Jesus Christ is at the center of all World Hope International programs. Our shared faith is central to our organizational culture. Each day we seek to spend ourselves on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed so that God’s light may shine in the darkness as He states in Isaiah 58.
All applicants will be screened for their Christian commitment. This process will include a discussion of:
- The applicant’s spiritual journey and relationship with Jesus Christ
- The applicant’s understanding and acceptance of the Apostle’s Creed.
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. AMEN.
