Education Scholarship Fund

 

 

In addition to our child sponsorship program, Hope for Children, World Hope International has launched a new initiative called the Education Scholarship Fund (ESF) to expand our scope of providing educational resources for children. While the child sponsorship continues for many, WHI has chosen to expand the opportunities for people to give to the education of children.

 

Through the Education Scholarship Fund, WHI identifies and responds to on-the-ground needs through our national staff who serve in 14 of the poorest countries in the world. 

 

• A teacher's classroom is overflowing with 50+ kids? We build another classroom and train a new teacher.
• A bright young child's parents just died, and they have no one to support their education? We offer them a scholarship.
• A 5th grade class doesn't have math textbooks? We get them the books they need.

Any teacher will tell you, there's a lot that goes into creating a successful learning environment. The Education Scholarship Fund makes it all possible. This ESF provides for one time gifts at various amounts or the ability to give at a monthly rate.

 

Children in World Hope International-affiliated schools receive:

 

• School fees
• Books/supplies
• Uniform
• Daily nutrition
• Basic medical care.

 

Thousands of children have graduated and moved on to continuing education opportunities because of the Education Scholarship Fund and World Hope International programs like it.

 

As a supporter, you will receive an annual update on the progress of Education Scholarship Fund students, as well as occasional success stories shared on WorldHope.org or in other organizational communications.

 

Stability is important to providing each child with a sustainable education. Supporters are encouraged to consider a multi-year commitment to ensure Education Scholarship Fund children have the opportunity to complete their primary and secondary education.
