Update from Amos
Shup! What's up! Holla! Hello
Guys,
Mulibwanji nonse? (How are you?) This is Amos from
Malawi, Africa. I am now back in my country, and Reach4Life
is in full swing. This season of the program has been
great. I spiced up my teaching with stories of my
NTS experience. Camp was awesome! I wish I could turn
back the hands of time. Do you remember team comps?
How about Sean’s messages? Camp was great guys—I
am Never the Same!
I hope you are too! Keep the fire burning! GLO,
guys, GLO.
Reach4Life Program - God's Timely Intervention
By Amos Nyambo, Reaach4Life Coordinator in Malawi
I
feel that the Reach4Life program is God’s timely
intervention to restore hope and bring healing to the
many African youth whose hearts have been broken by
the devastating effects of HIV/AIDS. One of the girls
in the R4L program grew up as an orphan. When she was
16, she got pregnant, and everyone abandoned her. But
now, she is back in school and she wants everyone to
know that, “R4L has helped me regain confidence,
I was full of shame and felt abandoned and could not
confidently interact with my friends. But through R4L,
I can stand before my peers and tell them the danger
of sexual relations before marriage.”
Another kid in the program shared with me that, “I
lost my virginity when I was 12 years old but R4L has
helped me realize that I can become a secondary virgin
and live a life of purity until I get married. I have
made a decision for this and I want to live it."
With such testimonies of what R4L is doing in the hearts
of young people, I feel God has heard the cry of the
African Child and that He wants to heal Africa through
Reach4Life. This is the healing that shall bring hope
in the life of the African youth. Join us in prayer
for Africa. Support Reach4Life.
