White House Features WHI Partnership
In late October, the White House held a special conference on faith-based and community solutions to combat human trafficking. “Hands that Heal: An International Curriculum to Train Caregivers of Trafficking Survivors” was the featured private sector strategy. This path breaking curriculum exists in two special editions – an academic version and a community-based version. “Hands that Heal” has been developed by FAAST (the Faith Alliance Against Slavery & Trafficking) of which World Hope International is a founding member.
FAAST members are currently training people around the world to implement this new curriculum. For more information about World Hope International’s work to eliminate the scourge of human trafficking click on: Our Work – Anti-Human Trafficking. For further information about the “Hands that Heal” curriculum, e-mail faast@worldhope.net. Your donation to World Hope International/Anti-Trafficking will advance the campaign to combat human trafficking and fulfill the Biblical injunction: “…to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke.” Is. 58:6
